A flake floor goes down in layers. We roll on a colored base coat, then scatter color chips across it until the whole floor is covered. Once it sets, we seal everything under a tough clear topcoat. The bit of texture that leaves makes it grippy underfoot, and the speckled look hides dirt, road salt, and tire marks. That is why it is our most popular floor for garages and shops.
You pick the colors and the chip size, from a fine speckle to a bold, chunky look, in just about any mix you want. It is tough, easy to clean, and sits right in the middle of our pricing.

Is a flake floor slippery?
No, the chip texture gives it natural grip. For ramps or wet areas we can add extra anti-slip to the topcoat.
Does it hide dirt and wear?
Yes. The speckled pattern is very good at hiding dust, road salt, tire marks, and everyday scuffing, which is what makes it so popular for garages.
How long does a flake floor take?
Most home garages take two to four days: grinding and prep, the base coat and chips, then the clear topcoat and time to cure. You get the exact window with your quote.
