Gold & black metallic basement

This basement went from a plain, cracked slab to a hand-poured gold-and-black metallic floor. We diamond-ground the concrete down to bare substrate, primed it, then floated gold and black pigment on clear resin and pulled it by hand, molten veins of gold running through deep black, before sealing it to a mirror gloss. What was a rough utility space is now the best room in the house.
