Three things move an epoxy floor quote more than anything else:

• The system. A flake floor uses less material and sits at the bottom of the range. Quartz sits in the middle. A hand-pulled metallic floor is the most involved and sits at the top.
• Square footage. Bigger floors cost more in total but often less per square foot, since setup and prep get spread across more area.
• Slab condition. Cracks, pitting, old coatings, and moisture all add prep. A clean slab is cheaper to coat than one that needs patching and grinding down old paint.

In rough order, from most affordable to most premium: flake, quartz, then metallic. That ordering holds almost everywhere, so if budget is tight, a flake floor gets you a durable, good-looking result for less than a signature metallic pour.
